Witches? Familiars Collection Display Board

Contains one of each piece on an imaged board with item information in a display box so your customers can see the piece 'live'. The display box is designed to be wall mounted, saving you space whilst showing customers all the pieces available. It only contains the key part of the piece, excluding the chain/pouch/leaflet where applicable, to hopefully help contribute to less shrinkage.

We also offer the display board as part of a starter pack for each collection.

Witches? Familiars - Contemporary Pagans and Witches see Familars as creatures sensitive to psychic vibrations, extra-sensory perception and magic, thus employ them as magical helpers. It is also believed that Familiars are able to advise people on journeys and the tasks of life.

The concept of magical animals has resonated throughout history in tribal traditions, creation myths and many religions. In ancient Rome, a spirit guardian was the protector of a household or nation.

Classical Greek philosopher, Socrates, spoke of a personal spirit or daimon that he said guided his conscience, stopping him from making mistakes. Native Americans believe in totem animals - animal symbols which reflect certain qualities or characteristics - that serve as guides and guardian spirits of both the physical and spiritual worlds.

In the Middle Ages, familiars were described as low-ranking demons. Magicians conjured them in rituals, then locked them into bottles, rings and stones. They sometimes sold them as charms, claiming the spirits would ensure sucess in gambling, love, business or anything else to match the customer's needs.
